Proofload Testing

Proofload Testing is a non-destructive method used to verify the load-bearing capacity of lifting equipment and structural components by applying a controlled test load to ensure safety and compliance.

Overview

Proofload Testing is a controlled, non-destructive process used to verify the strength and performance of lifting equipment, structural components, and load-bearing systems. By applying a specified load—usually above the working load limit—this method confirms that equipment can safely handle its intended capacity without permanent deformation or failure.

Our team conducts proofload tests on lifting gears, cranes, anchors, pad eyes, and structural supports, using calibrated load cells and test rigs to ensure compliance with industry standards such as ASME, API, and LOLER. We provide detailed reports and certification to support regulatory and safety requirements.
